Before scheduling a fund transfer, let me tell you the important things required to do so. The things you must have are a mobile number registered with the bank, a user name and password to log in to internet banking and an easy pin to log in to YONO. Schedule Fund Transfer in SBI on Internet banking
Step 1: Log in to SBI internet banking
First of all, you have to log in to your State bank of India’s internet banking account to schedule a fund transfer in SBI. To do so, you want to visit www.onlinesbi.com on your browser. Once the page was loaded, click on the ‘Personal Banking’ option.

Then click on ‘Continue to Login’ and then enter your username, password and captcha as shown in the image. Then tap the login option.
Step 2: Enter OTP for security purpose
After you click on login, the next page will ask you to enter the OTP. You need to enter the Time Password which was sent to your registered mobile number by the bank for additional security.
Step 3: Go to the Payments / Transfers section
Once you are logged into internet banking, click on the menu option three parallel lines at the top left side of the screen. It will show you a list of options. From there, you need to select ‘Payments / Transfers. And then select the ‘Other Bank Accounts’ option.

Step 4: Select Payment mode
It will lead you to the fund transaction page where you need to first select any one payment mode from NEFT and RTGS based on the amount you want to transact through schedule fund transfer in SBI.
Step 5: Enter the amount and select the beneficiary account
Now, choose your SBI account from which you want to transact fund and then enter the amount for the purpose of scheduled fund transfer. And also, you have to now select the beneficiary account number to which you need to send money through internet banking.
Step 6: Schedule fund transfer in SBI
To schedule fund transfer, you need to select a schedule option. You just have to select the ‘Schedule Later’ option among ‘Pay Now, ‘Schedule Later’ and ‘Standing Instructions’. And select the date on which you want to schedule the transfer.
Step 7: Enter One Time Password
After selecting and entering all necessary details, you have to accept the terms and conditions of SBI for fund transferring and then click on the ‘Submit button. Once you click on submit, you will get an OTP on your mobile number registered with the bank through SMS. Enter this OTP on the internet banking page and then again click on Submit.

That’s it. Now, the State Bank of India will send you the reference number of your scheduled transaction through SMS and it will be displayed on the screen after you click on submit button. If you want to cancel or re-schedule the scheduled transaction, you have to go to the ‘Request & Enquiries’ section from the menu and then select Scheduled Transactions >> Internet Banking Transactions.

You can also schedule fund transfer in SBI using the YONO app. Let’s see easy steps to schedule fund transfer in SBI using the YONO app.
Step 1: First, you need to download and install the SBI YONO Lite app on your Smartphone. It is available for both Android and iOS devices. So, you can get the app from your respective app stores such as Play Store and App Store.

Step 2: After installing the app on your device, open the app and first you need to register for mobile banking using your user name and password for your SBI internet banking. For that, you have to verify your identity using the One Time Password. And set an easy pin for login to the app.
Step 3: Now, you can log in to the YONO app using the easy pin which you set at the time of registration. To schedule fund transfer in the SBI YONO app, you need to select the ‘Fund Transfer’ option in the app.
Step 4: Then, click on the other bank fund transfer from the list. Now, you need to enter all details which are necessary for fund transfer.
Step 5: Select your SBI account from which you want to transfer the amount and then enter the amount for the purpose of scheduled fund transfer. And also, you need to select the beneficiary account number which you need to send money through internet banking. Before you need to ensure that you have already added beneficiary to your account.
Step 6: Then, you need to accept the terms and conditions of SBI for fund transferring and then click on the ‘Submit button. On the next screen, you have checked and confirm all the details entered by you are correct and then click on ‘Confirm’.
Step 7: Once you click on Confirm, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number registered with the bank through SMS. Enter this OTP on the required column of the YONO app and tap on the ‘Submit’ option. That’s all. Now, you have successfully scheduled a fund transfer in SBI using the YONO app. State Bank of India will notify regarding same through message along with reference number.

You can re-schedule or cancel the scheduled transaction in the YONO app also as you do in internet banking.
